About us
GloTouch is a privately funded startup located in Pittsburgh, PA. Started as a side project in September of 2007, GloTouch has grown into a site with many features and options. Even though GloTouch is currently only available in English, our users are from around the world. GloTouch was designed by just one person in the beginning. The entire site took over 5 months to incorporate most of the features that are on GloTouch today. We now have a team of workers to help speed the process up. |

The GloTouch name
Where in the world did the name GloTouch come from? Originally, we started out as a company to design touch screen monitors -- hence the name GloTouch (screens glow and you touch them). However, this idea was short lived due to the lack of funds. GloTouch was transformed into a website that organizes your information and the name stuck. |

Building the site
GloTouch is built using blazing fast PHP and mySQL databases. We all work on Windows operating systems. Surprisingly, our primary testing browser is Google Chrome. However, we make sure that the site works in all browsers. Our website design was made using Photoshop. |
